This old cottage, in the owner's family for about two centuries, was completely refurbished and extensively enlarged between February 1999 and May 2000. The improvements included the addition of a swimming pool measuring 10m. by 5m. set into a large patio with barbecue. Careful attention has resulted in a restful garden with lawn, colouful flowers and mature as well as young trees. |

The property has full central heating with air-conditioning in upstairs bedrooms. Ceiling fans are fitted in downstairs rooms. Maid service and household linen twice weekly, but please bring your own beach towels. There is a standard "classical" electronic two-manual-and-pedal organ in the lounge which our local organist will be happy to demonstrate for those who are interested. |

We especially welcome walkers out of season; Corfu is a different world when summer visitors have departed. Empty beaches, some of Europe's most beautiful scenery and carefully mapped and described walks, guided or unguided, will captivate you.
Around March to May is a particularly good time to see how gorgeous is Corfu in the spring with its profusion of wild flowers. Each day more blossom bursts into life, the weather is generally good, the pace of life is very slow owing to the absence of a large number of tourists, and the evenings see thousands of fireflies illuminating the valleys - a truly special time to visit the island. E-mail now for out-of-season availability and prices. The climate in autumn and spring can be very agreeable indeed for walkers. Some thirty alternative routes can be offered to suit the individual and range from gentle strolls to long treks.
