Villa Aphrodite, completed in 2008, is situated in secluded woodland on the western edge of the village of Agios Ioannis, off the road through the Ropa Valley to Glyfada and Ermones. It occupies a hillside site with glorious views across the island to the sea through the Ermones gap in the hills.
Accommodation comprises a spacious, well-equipped kitchen-diner-lounge extending the full length of the building; two bedrooms downstairs, one double the other twin; two shower-toilets; one very large upstairs bedroom with a double and two single beds. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
A big verandah on the western side, with table and chairs for outside dining, faces the spectacular cross-island view. On one side of the villa there is a patio surrounding a pool of area 32 square metres.
The extensive grounds have been left mainly in their natural picturesque condition with a variety of trees, mainly olives, separated by grassy glades. The area is very little frequented; within sight are only one house and a delightful little chapel, dedicated to Saint Nicholas and accordingly used once a year on 6th December, therefore this locality is very safe for children.
The villa is nearly two kilometres from the nearest shops and tavernas, mostly along a sealed winding rural track, therefore some form of transport is necessary, although where this track joins the main road, about two-thirds of the way, there is a bus stop serving buses to Town, Glyfada and Ermones. Also within two kilometres is Aqualand, a very large popular water-park with a wide assortment of pools, rides and slides for all ages. The island golf course, reckoned to be amongst the best around the Mediterranean, is only two miles away.

"The infiniety pool is a speciality of this site."
